Prenatal care is important to the health and future of your unborn baby. Women who receive prenatal health care have healthier babies, are less likely to deliver too early, and have fewer serious pregnancy problems.
Give your baby a healthy start:
- Don’t wait to see a health care professional.
- Eat healthy. Take a multivitamin every day.
- Your baby’s future could depend on your prenatal care.
JPS provides very affordable, regular prenatal care to monitor your pregnancy and spot potential health problems early. We also offer free classes so you’re better prepared for the birth of your baby. In these prenatal classes you will learn:
- How your baby grows and develops
- What to expect during labor and delivery
- Signs of premature/preterm labor
- Caring for yourself and your baby following delivery
- Breastfeeding
- Car seat safety*
*Small fee associated. Class will allow you to earn a car seat at time of delivery
