Transportation
Under the direct supervision of the Transportation Manager, the department oversees transportation services for pregnant mothers and their children, as well as providing courier services to all JPS facilities. The department provides professional and courteous transportation service to meet the rising needs of the network.
Other services will include:
- Transporting staff and patients for all JPS facilities
- Non-emergency transport of inpatients to other medical facilities
- Transportation of administrative communication
- Transporting of medical equipment, supplies, linen, pharmaceuticals and medical specimens
- Transporting dental equipment to elementary schools for dental screening
The department is also responsible for all district vehicles including maintenance and fueling for passenger vans, cargo vans, pickup trucks, emergency vehicles, campus police vehicles, carts, straight trucks and flat-bed trailers.
