Textile Processing

JPS Health Network’s Textile Processing Department is staffed by 26 employees, one Staff Assistant, one Supervisor, one Manager and one Director. JPS takes great pride in the fact that they provide an on-site laundry service for its patients throughout the Tarrant County Hospital District.

At a time when many hospitals have moved toward outside vendors to provide laundry service, at the JPS this service is seen as a continuation of the care that makes our patients’ stay special. The laundry department washes linen for all departments on the main campus, community health centers and school-based health centers.

The laundry department washes and processes an average of 5.9 million pounds of linen a year.
