Plant Operations

The Facilities Management/Plant Operations/Safety Management Department provides ongoing operation of all utility systems and equipment throughout the institution through repair, preventative maintenance and safety inspections of all facilities, non-medical equipment and utility systems.

The Facilities Management/Plant Operations/Safety Management Department identifies, evaluates and inventories facilities, equipment and utility systems utilized throughout the district.

The Director of Facilities Management/Plant Operations/Safety Management is responsible for maintaining all district facilities, non-medical equipment management and utility systems management programs throughout the district.

The Department is comprised of over 80 employees of varying experience levels and areas of responsibility, including HVAC Technicians, Electricians, Plumbers, Maintenance Technicians, Power Plant Technicians, clerical, administrative and other support staff.
