Environmental Services
JPS Health Network’s Environmental Services Department consists of a team of 250 dedicated and conscientious employees and managers provided by Sodexo Healthcare Services. Managers and employees are cross-trained within all areas of the hospital and the senior management team is CHESP Certified.
The hospital housekeeping department has a basic function of maintaining the highest order of aseptic cleanliness throughout the Tarrant County Hospital District consisting of the hospital, pavilion and community health centers (CHCs). We are staffed seven days a week, 24 hours per day in the hospital and pavilion and hours range from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. up to 6 days per week in the community health centers. Housekeeping also utilizes two outside contractors to assist with the exterior pressure washings of public entrance areas and for heavy duty carpet extraction and upholstery cleanings.
Housekeeping also assists with the management, service request and cost controls of designated JPS vendors/contractors for exterior window cleanings, hand sanitizing/washing products, hospital’s waste stream collection/removal and recycling programs. Housekeeping also plays an important role with having various personnel trained & certified for HazMat Response, Disaster and DECON Teams.
Thank you for your interest in JPS Health Network. Currently there are not any active RFQs for Environmental Services but please check back with us as new opportunities are posted often.
